MT Photography wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement sets out the accessibility features that are actually implemented and the current known limitations. It is not a certification of conformance.
Our commitment
We aim to provide an accessible and equitable experience, and to keep improving it over time. This site is built with reference to the Israeli accessibility standard IS 5568 (which is based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA). That is the standard we work toward — it is a reference point, not a claim of full conformance.
What is implemented
Accessibility features currently built into the site include:
- Semantic structure with page landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) and a logical heading order.
- A keyboard-accessible "Skip to content" link.
- Keyboard access to interactive controls — navigation, forms, the booking calendar, and the image viewer (lightbox): arrow keys move between images, Escape closes it, focus is kept inside the dialog while open and returned to where you were when it closes.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images; purely decorative visuals are marked so assistive technology can skip them.
- Form fields have labels, required fields are indicated programmatically, and validation messages are announced.
- Reduced-motion support: if your device asks for reduced motion, animations are minimised.
Known limitations
We have not completed an independent professional accessibility audit, so we do not claim full IS 5568 / WCAG 2.0 AA conformance. In particular, some colour-contrast values on secondary/technical labels and some motion-led visuals have not yet been independently verified.
Content on external services we link to (for example Instagram) is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
